Where do yl extensions come from & how are they processed?
We pride ourselves in sourcing the highest and finest quality hair, ethically and transparently. We use raw Asian hair for our straight textures and premium Indian hair for our curly textures.
YL Extensions is sustainably and ethically sourced, traded for fair compensation by expert hair collectors. Our advanced processing method takes 3-4 weeks and is completed in gentle, chemical-free stages, with no silicones or harsh treatments to preserve its natural shine, texture and integrity.
Micro-Tied Weft Extensions
YL Micro-Tied Weft Extensions feature a unique blend of hand-tied and machine-made wefts that offer flexibility and longevity with a comfortable, discreet and refined look and feel.
Micro-Tied wefts lie flatter against the scalp than traditional hand-tied options and can be cut along the seam without compromising the integrity of the weft.

Aftercare
YL Extensions can last up to 12 months with the correct aftercare and maintenance. To get maximum longevity out of your extensions we recommend the following:
➝ Products: Use products that are free from sulphates, parabens and proteins.
➝ Heat Styling: Avoid using heat over 180°C / 350°F
➝ Use the YL Detangler Brush before/after washing, and the YL Extensions Brush throughout the day
➝ Avoid sunscreen / suntan lotions with avobenzone and octocrylene, and yellow tinted oils. These can often stain and discolour the hair, especially blondes! Instead, opt for a mineral based sunscreen or clear coloured oils
